Community & giving back
We put part of every fee back into the cloud-native community: expertise, time and money for the conferences and meetups where people learn from each other.
At FikaWorks, we believe that strong communities drive innovation. As a collective of independent cloud-native engineers, we’re deeply committed to building, supporting, and participating in the broader tech ecosystem.
We actively contribute to the growth of the cloud-native and AI ecosystem in the Netherlands and beyond. FikaWorks is a founding member of Cloud Native Netherlands Foundation , an initiative dedicated to connecting cloud-native professionals and fostering knowledge sharing across the region.
Supporting Community-Driven Conferences
We’re passionate supporters of grassroots, community-driven conferences that bring together practitioners to share real-world experiences. Over time, we’ve proudly sponsored and supported events including:

FikaWorks Day
Each year, we host FikaWorks Day—our own community event that brings together freelancers, consultants, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts for a day of talks, workshops, and open collaboration. It’s our way of giving back and creating space for the kind of meaningful conversations that drive our industry forward.
